# Billing & Plans

> Plans, Stripe checkout, billing portal, usage metering, trial behavior, and enterprise support.

Everything you need to pick a plan, pay for it, and keep track of usage. Billing lives in [Settings → Billing](https://hearflow.io/settings/billing).

## Plans

Hearflow is priced per workspace. Every plan includes:

* All 13 integrations and CSV Upload
* AI extraction, clustering, and the Insights dashboard
* Unlimited team members
* Stripe-backed billing and invoices

Plans differ by monthly AI budget, historical backfill window, sync cadence, and support SLA. Starter polls each connected source once a week on your configured [sync day](/settings#sync-cadence); Pro and Enterprise poll daily. See the [pricing page](https://hearflow.io/pricing) for the current tiers.

## Starting a subscription

    From [Settings → Billing](https://hearflow.io/settings/billing), click **Upgrade** on the plan that fits your usage.

    You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page. Enter your payment details and billing address — Stripe handles all card data.

  <Step title="Return to Hearflow">
    After checkout, you'll land back in Hearflow with the new plan active. A receipt is emailed to the billing contact on file.

## Managing billing

Use the **Manage billing** button in Settings to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can:

* **Update your payment method** — Add, remove, or replace cards.
* **Download invoices** — Access every past invoice and receipt as PDF.
* **Update billing address & VAT ID** — Tax details propagate to future invoices.
* **Cancel the subscription** — Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

## Usage metering

Each plan has a monthly AI budget. Hearflow tracks how much of that budget has been spent on extractions, dedup, and quality checks.

* Usage resets on your billing anniversary each month.
* You'll receive email notifications at 75% and 95% of the budget.
* When the budget is exhausted, ingestion continues but AI extraction is paused until the next cycle — or until you upgrade.

## Trials

  **14-day trial on paid plans** — New workspaces get a 14-day trial of a paid plan. Trials require a card on file; you're charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Downgrade to the free tier at any time during the trial without being charged.
