# Asana Integration Guide

> Connect Asana to sync tasks and comments into Hearflow for product-feedback extraction.

## Prerequisites

* An Asana workspace and project with customer-facing feedback
* Permission to authorize Asana via OAuth

## Connect Asana

    Grant access to your Asana workspace in the consent flow.

    Select which projects to sync and confirm setup.

## How Sync Works

**Task ingestion** — Tasks and comments are combined into transcript-like records.

**Backfill** — Historical project activity is imported after configuration.

**Ongoing sync** — New task changes are captured in scheduled sync runs.

  **Data access** — Hearflow reads only authorized projects and stores OAuth credentials encrypted at rest.
