# Notion Integration Guide

> Connect Notion to ingest feedback pages and optionally enrich insight extraction with product context.

## Prerequisites

* A Notion workspace with pages or databases containing customer feedback
* Permission to authorize a Notion internal integration
* The Hearflow **Owner** role — only owners can connect Notion or change its field mapping

## Connect Notion

    Go to [Settings → Integrations](/settings) and choose Notion.

    Complete OAuth and pick the Notion workspace to connect.

    Select pages/databases and set each source as feedback extraction or enrichment context.

## How Sync Works

**Source mapping** — Field mapping keeps document structure consistent during ingestion.

**Initial backfill** — Selected pages are imported after setup and normalized for extraction.

**Incremental sync** — Changed pages are synced in scheduled polling runs.

  **Data access** — Hearflow reads only connected Notion sources and stores credentials encrypted with AES-256 at rest.
